Enhance your wellness

SUP yoga is an holistic low impact physical workout. Paddling works your arms and destabilises your body, forcing you to engage your core and use all of your muscles to maintain balance. Being barefoot gets your 'proprioception' going and gives ankle and foot muscles a workout. And because you are on the water, it is low impact and low weight-bearing - a gentle choice.

Connect with nature to calm your mind

Being outdoors and in particular on the water adds another sensory dimension to the practice of yoga.

Fine white sand, clear turquoise water, yachts bobbing in the background.

I see dolphins, sting rays and sea eagles most days. Our beaches are among the safest and most beautiful in the country. What could be more blissful? 

Embrace the fall

SUP yoga offers many fun challenges for the strongest of athletes to try. However this is not about elite yoga, this is just good old fashioned fun. Laughter is exercise. Wear your swimmers, expect to laugh until your abs are sore, and to do some asanas in between. Take a break from daily life, and embrace the imperfections, the splashes. Reconnect to what yoga is really about.
